Standing on the edge, a despondent woman is interrupted by a stranger, Mr. Sam Peterson, who pulls her from the ledge. He then makes a shocking proposal: a contract marriage to secure his position in the family business. With nothing left to lose, she reluctantly agrees to the arrangement.
