Vermilion Mark of Fate

Ethan Fu suffers from a rare poison that requires union with a woman bearing a blood-phoenix birthmark—a “Phoenix Body”—to cure, but would gravely harm her. After his brother's sudden death, his mother forces him to find such a woman and brings home his brother's widow, Clara Shen, who is revealed to be the only Phoenix Body in existence.
