Emma violently attacked Amy after being caught fleeing their pack. She accused Amy of stealing her mate Logan before declaring she'd rather become an outcast than have Amy as their Luna. Though hurt and confused, Amy refused to believe Emma would willingly abandon everyone and risk the dangers of renegade life. Convinced something else must be driving her friend's extreme actions, Amy immediately convinced Andrew to join a desperate pursuit into the forest. They would stop Emma from becoming a renegade at all costs.
